Had a run-in with the Wasatch Powderbird Guides you’d like to commemorate in the blogosphere for all time? We’d love to help you out. Just send the story and/or photos to info@helifreewasatch.com and we will take care of the rest. Dates and times help.
Fed up and feeling like you are not going to take it anymore and want to let the Forest Service know what you think? They could care less, but you can contact Steve Scheid at sscheid@fs.fed.us
Ready to cut out the middle men and go straight to the heart of evil by contacting the Wasatch Powderbird Guides directly? It’s doubtful they have figured out how to read e-mail yet (or post their address in a public spot) but try this address: operations@powderbird.com
A WORD OF WARNING ABOUT CONTACTING THE WASATCH POWDERBIRD GUIDES DIRECTLY! If you have had a run-in with them and send them an e-mail about it, they will respond (maybe) in vague, gratutious terms and copy the Forest Service on their reply such that it makes it look like they are doing something to reduce the conflict. In a nutshell, you get landed on, your day is ruined, you try to address the problem in a direct fashion and next thing you know, the Forest Service is giving the WPG credit for reducing conflict in the backcountry! If you contact them, make sure you cc the Forest Service, helifreewasatch.com and Save Our Canyons as well so the truth can be told.
Need to preach to the choir and vent your heli-inflicted spleen to the longest standing anti helicopter crusading organization in the existence of the Wasatch Heli Wars? Send a message to Save Our Canyons at http://www.saveourcanyons.org/whoweare/staffboard.html
